Julia Frombach is in her first season as an assistant on the YSU Women's Lacrosse coaching staff.

During her collegiate career, she was an accomplished defender while playing at Xavier and Akron.

She was a student-athlete at Xavier in 2024 and 2025. In 26 games for the Musketeers, she played in 26 games where she was credited with 29 ground balls and 25 caused turnovers. She was a student-athlete at Akron from 2020-22 where she started in 39 games during her three seasons. She accumulated 66 ground balls, 56 caused turnovers and two draw controls for the Zips. She was tabbed 2022 All-MAC Second Team for her 33 ground balls and 24 caused turnovers.

She played against the Penguins during the first game in program history on March 5, 2021 at Infocision Stadium.

A native of Avon, Ohio, she was a four-sport athlete participating in track, cross country, basketball and lacrosse. She helped lead Avon to the 2019 Sweet 16. She garnered three state qualifications in track and tallied two championships in cross country.
