Women’s Lacrosse Announces Five Fall Play Days

Youngstown, Ohio – The Youngstown State women's lacrosse team will play 15 games over five fall play days, including two at home and one at Syracuse, second-year Head Coach Liza Oakley announced.
The Penguins open the fall campaign on Saturday, Sept. 19, with four games at Farmers National Bank Field. Youngstown State will host Slippery Rock, Mercyhurst, Canisius, and in-state foe Xavier.
A three-game set at Syracuse on Sept. 27 begins with a matchup against Colgate followed by contests against St. Bonaventure and the Orange.
The Penguins head back to The Empire State for a pair of games at Canisius on Oct. 3 when they face the Golden Griffins and SUNY-Geneseo.
Youngstown State travels to Ashland on Oct. 10 for three games against Ashland Gannon, and Findlay.
The Penguins close out the fall season at home on Oct. 24 with three contests against Indiana (Pa.), Duquesne, and Mount Union.
