Two Penguins, Team Earn Academic Honors from IWLCA

Northborough, Mass. – The Youngstown State women's lacrosse program was named an Academic Honors Squad, and a pair of Penguins were named to the 2025-26 IWLCA Division I Academic Honor Roll, the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaching Association announced.
The Penguins named to the Honor Roll were seniors Emma Hoffman and Mia Stahl. To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.
The IWLCA honored 1,212 student-athletes from 122 different institutions on the 2025-26 IWLCA Division I Academic Honor Roll.
To qualify for the Honor Squad award, women's lacrosse teams must have posted a 3.2 or higher team GPA for the academic year. Youngstown State posted a 3.48 grade-point average.
