2011 Outdoor: Had two top-10 finishes at the Horizon League Championships, throwing the discus a personal-best 40.61m to finish 10th and the javelin 13.42m to finish eighth…placed ninth in both the shot put (14.74m) and the javelin (43.48m)at the Northeast Ohio Quad…threw the shot put a season-best 15.13m to finish 10th at the Duke Invitational…placed fifth in the hammer (48.96m), eighth in the shot put (14.94m), and 15th in the javelin (season-best 43.89m) at the Sparky Adams Invitational.
2010 Outdoor: Placed third in both the shot put and the javelin throw at the Horizon League Championships…the shot put throw of 15.37m and the javelin mark of 45.53m were both season-bests...also threw the shot put 15.09m at the Northeast Ohio Quad.
2010 Indoor: Finished seventh at the Horizon League Indoor Championships with a shot put throw of 14.31m…threw a season-best mark of 15.72m at the Robert Morris Indoor Meet…placed fourth at the Tom Wright Classic with a throw of 14.89m.
2009 Outdoor (Sophomore): Had three top-10 finishes at the Horizon League Championships, finishing second in the shot put (15.53m), ninth in the javelin (37.90m), and 10th in the hammer (39.89m) ... threw the shot put a personal-best distance of 15.91m (52-2 ½) to finish fourth at the Saint Francis Red Flash Open ... the distance ranks third in school history ... finished seventh in the shot put at the Campbell/Wright Open with a distance of 15.61m (51-2 ¾) ... finished third in the same event with a distance of 14.90m (48-10 ¾) at the Sparky Adams Invite ... also claimed 10th in the javelin (40.60m) at the event ... finished third at the Northeast Ohio Quad (15.36m) and fourth at the Detroit Titan Classic (14.66m) in the shot put ... also finished seventh in the shot put and eighth in the hammer at Detroit.
2009 Indoor (Sophomore): Finished runner-up in the shot put with a distance of 15.41m (50-6 ¾) at the Horizon League Championships ... also added a personal-best toss of 14.80m (48-6 ¾) in the weight throw to finish seventh at the Championships ... the weight throw distance ranks ninth in school history ... threw the shot put 15.22m (49-11 ¼) to finish second at Baldwin-Wallace ... took ninth in the shot put with a distance of 15.03m (49-5) at the Doug Raymond Invite ... also finished fifth in the shot put at both the KSU Triangular (14.83m) and the Robert Morris Sixway (14.08m).
2008 Outdoor (Freshman): Finished third in the shot put (49-5) and 10th in the discus (125-10) at the Horizon League Championships ... posted personal-best marks in each ... earned four top-seven finishes in the shot put.
2007-08 Indoor (Freshman): Was the runner-up at the Horizon League Championships in the shot put (50-7 1/2) ... just missed his personal-best mark in the weight throw en route to a ninth-place finish (44-6 1/4) ... threw the shot a personal-best 52-6 1/2 to win at the Akron Open ... recorded a personal-best mark of 44-7 1/2 in the weight throw at the Baldwin Wallace Mid February Meet ... earned seven top-five finishes in the shot put.
High School: Earned seven letters and was a team captain twice for the Battling Bees ... set the Medina High record for the shot put (61'2") and the discus (162'8") ... placed fourth in the shot put and 16th in the discus in Division I at the Ohio state championships as a senior ... earned All-Medina County, All-Northeast Ohio Conference, all-district and all-regional honors ... also participated in football where he was an all-conference, all-county and all-district player ... was an Academic All-Ohioan and a member of the National Honor Society.
