2013 Outdoor (Junior): At the NCAA East Prelims, placed 13th in the shot put with a career-best toss of 17.84 meters...was among the top 12 qualifiers until the second-to-last throw...the top 12 advanced to the NCAA meet...won the shot put at the Horizon League Championships with a throw of 17.47 meters...next closest competitor was 2.34 meters behind...posted a fifth-place finish in the discus with a toss of 41.70 meters...season-best in the shot was a heave of 17.74 meters at the Ashland Open...best throw in the discus was 43.48 at the Jesse Owens Classic...Academic All-Horizon League selection.

2012 Indoor (Junior): Won the shot put at the Horizon League Champinship thanks to a throw of 17.62m(57-9 3/4)...was first individual title of his YSU career...finished 10th in weight throw with a throw of 14.30.
2011 Outdoor (Sophomore): Was the runner-up in the shot put event at the Horizon League Championships with a season-best throw of 16.05m…his throw is the fourth-longest in school history…also finished seventh in the discus event at the meet with a mark of 46.45m…claimed third in the shot put (15.50m) at the Sparky Adams Invitational…added a fifth-place finish at the Northeast Ohio Quad (15.76m) and an eighth-place finish (15.45m) at the Duke Invitational in the shot put events.
2011 Indoor (Sophomore): Placed eighth in the shot put with a throw of 13.31m and was 13th in the weight throw with a toss of 12.79m at the Horizon League Championships.
2010 Outdoor (Freshman): Finished fourth in the shot put with a toss of 50 feet (15.24 meters) and was seventh in the discus with an effort of 137-08 feet (41.96 meters) at the Horizon League Championships...both throws were season bests.
2010 Indoor (Freshman): Finished fourth in the shot put with a toss of 51 feet (15.54 meters) and was 12th in the weight throw with a distance of 12.78 meters (41-11.25 feet) at the Horizon League Championships...had a season-best throw of 15.87 meters in the shot at the Kent State Tuneup.
High School: Was a four-year letterman at South Range...holds the Inter Tri-County League shot put record and the Ryan Jannson Memorial Invitational discus record...is regional qualifier in both the discus and shot put...qualified for the state meet in the shot put...named school's Field MVP twice...was a member of the Division 3 Mahoning County Champions...coach was former Penguin standout Dave Purins...also played football, was named All-ITCL.
Personal: Parents are John and Lorrie Seaver...has five brothers (Kyle, Craig, Phillip, Eric and Kirk)...major is integrated social studies education...is the 2012-13 recipient of the Lawrence M. Stolle Athletic Scholarship.
