2017 Outdoor (Sophomore): Did not compete at the Horizon League Championships.

2017 Indoor (Sophomore): Did not compete at the Horizon League Championships.

2016 Outdoor (Freshman): Ran the 10,000-meter run and the 5,000-meter run at the Horizon League Championships...had time of 32:20.4 in the 10,000m and 16:16.82 in the 5,000m run.

2016 Indoor (Freshman): Ran a personal-best time in the 3,000-meter run at the Horizon League Championships with a time of 8:51.63 to help the Penguins win the HL Championship...had a personal-best time in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 15:29.28 at the YSU College Invitational.

High School: was a four-year letterwinner and a four-year captain...has personal records in the mile (4:28), the 3,200m (9:33), and the 5k (16:02)...also was a member of the hockey team.

Personal: Son of Scott and Lori Benka...has a brother...majoring in civil engineering.
