2012 Outdoor (Junior): Won three events at the Horizon League Championships to be named the Most Outstanding Field Performer...won the discus with a toss of 50.29 meters...had a throw of 51.59 in the prelims...won the hammer throw with a heave of 57.98 meters...won the shot put with a toss of 18.30 meters...advanced to the NCAA East Preliminary Round in the shot put...finished 15th in the event with a best throw of 18.12 meters...placed third in the shot put competition with a distance of 18.36m, which tied a school record at the Ashland Alumni Open...Finished second in Discus throwing a distance of 51.59m at the Northeast Ohio Invitational...Won the Hammer throw with a distance of 57.98m at the Horizon League Championship.
2012 Indoor (Junior): Finished second in the shot put at the Horizon League Championships with a toss of 17.47 meters...placed fourth in the weight throw at the HL Championships with a distance of 17.21m...won the shot put title at the YSU National Invitational with a distance of 18.58m which tied a school record.
2011 Outdoor (Sophomore): Won the shot put title (16.14m) and was the runner-up in the discus and hammer events at the Horizon League Championships…his personal-best discus throw of 49.13m is the second-farthest in school history while his personal-best hammer throw of 55.11m ranks third-best in YSU history…qualified for Regional competition for the first time in his career, throwing the shot put 16.48m to finish 29th at the East Regional…finished fourth at the Duke Invitational after throwing the shot put a personal-best 16.52m, which ranks second on the YSU top-10 charts…took sixth in the shot put (15.72m), eighth in the discus (45.35m) and 12th in the hammer (50.36m) at the Northeast Ohio Quad…won the shot put with a throw of 16.24m and placed second in the hammer (50.52m) at the Sparky Adams Invitational…earned Horizon League Field Athlete of the Week honors during the season.
2011 Indoor (Sophomore): Won the Horizon League Championship in the shot put with a throw of 16.03m...finished fourth in the weight throw with a toss of 16.29m.
2010 Outdoor (Freshman): Finished twelfth in the shot put at the All Ohio Championships with a throw of 15.85m…also threw the same season-best mark at the Ashland Alumni Open…threw the discus a season-best 41.59m at the Raleigh Relays.
2010 Indoor (Freshman): Finished third at the Horizon League Indoor Championships in the shot put after throwing 15.85m, finished ninth in the weight throw event (13.41m)…moved into sixth on YSU’s Top Ten with a season-best shot put throw of 15.80m at the Kent State Tune Up…placed seventh at the Akron Invitational and at the Robert Morris Invitational with shot put throws of 14.43m and 14.45m, respectively.
High School: Was a three-year letterman and was a team captain...named all-conference twice...district champion in the shot put...qualified for the state championship in the shot put...holds Midpark's shot put record...also played football...named second-team All-SWC as a kicker and center...coaches were Rick Mack and Steve Bosko.
