Youngstown, Ohio – Nine home games at Farmers National Bank Field and match ups against teams from the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), the American Conference, the Big Ten Conference (B1G), and the Southeastern Conference (SEC) highlight the Youngstown State women's soccer team's 20-game 2026 schedule, Head Coach Rich Wall announced.
The Penguins open the campaign with a pair of road contests against Power Four conference foes Pittsburgh (ACC) on Aug. 12 and at Indiana (B1G) on Aug. 16. Youngstown State hosts nearby Kent State in the 2026 home opener on Aug. 20 before welcoming Eastern Kentucky on Aug. 23.
Youngstown State plays the next three games on the road when it visits Miami (Ohio) on Aug. 30 before trekking to the State of Florida for a match up against SEC-member Florida on Sept. 3 and a contest in Tampa, Fla., against South Florida on Sept. 6.
The Penguins return to Farmers National Bank Field for their final two non-conference games of the year when they host Duquesne on Sept. 10 and Navy on Sept. 13 in the first meeting between the schools.
Youngstown State opens Horizon League play on the road at Northern Kentucky on Sept. 19 before entertaining Cleveland State on Sept. 24 and Purdue Fort Wayne on Sept. 27.
The Penguins open the final month of the regular season with four of five games on the road beginning with a two-game trip through Michigan to face Oakland on Oct. 1 and Detroit Mercy on Oct. 4. Youngstown State hosts Wright State on Oct. 10 before heading back on the road to visit Milwaukee on Oct. 15 and Green Bay Oct. 18.
Two of the final three regular season games are at Farmers National Bank Field when the Penguins welcome Horizon League newcomer Northern Illinois on Oct. 22 and IU Indy on Oct. 25. Youngstown State closes out the regular season against Robert Morris on Oct. 31 in Moon Township, Pa.
The first round of the 2026 Horizon League Women's Soccer Championship is set for Nov. 7 while the semifinals are on Nov. 11, and the championship game is slated for Nov. 14.
