Youngstown, Ohio — A limited number of foursomes remain for the 2026 Youngstown State Women's Basketball Golf Outing scheduled for Aug. 22 at Knoll Run.
The annual event reaches capacity each year due to overwhelming support from the fan base and community. This will be the 23rd edition of the event and the 14th consecutive held at Knoll Run.
Opportunities for businesses or individuals to sponsor holes also remain available. Signs for hole sponsors can be customized with business logos and messaging, or they can be as simple as plain text to show support for the program. Signs are $100 each, and they will be displayed prominently at tee boxes throughout the course.
The outing at the course in Lowellville, Ohio, provides an early opportunity for golfers to meet Youngstown State's 2026-27 team and coaching staff while competing in a four-person scramble. There are skill and team prizes, along with 50/50 raffles and red-bag auction items from YSU athletics and supporters throughout the Mahoning Valley.
Golfers also enjoy a boxed lunch on the course and a buffet dinner at the event's conclusion.
Registration begins at 7:30 a.m., and the shotgun start is at 9 a.m. The cost for each foursome is $400, which includes green fees, cart, skins, prizes and food. Individual golfers can participate for $100, and tickets to attend only the buffet portion of the golf outing are available for $20 each.
The deadline to register for golf or to submit a hole sign is Aug. 10.
