The Youngstown State women's tennis team picked up a 7-0 win over Chicago State on Sunday at the YSU Indoor Tennis Center.
The Penguins improve to 9-7 overall and 2-1 in the Horizon League. The Cougars fall to 0-10 and 0-2 on the season.
Chicago State played the match with just two healthy players. YSU earned a walkover at No. 3 doubles and won by default at No. 2. At No. 1, Ghada Dirninger are Julia Marko won by a 6-1 score.
In singles, the only two full matches came at No. 1 and No. 2 singles. At No. 1, Julia Marko won 6-2, 6-0 while at No. 2, Lili Minich won 6-1, 6-1.
Marko now has 79 career singles victories while Minich has 58 wins.
YSU returns to action on Saturday when it visits IU Indy.
