Northridge, Calif. – After battling rainy weather in Southern California, the Youngstown State women's tennis team was able to get a full match in on Saturday.
The Guins dropped a 4-0 decision to CSUN at the Matador Tennis Complex.
The Penguins (7-6) battled in singles before falling to the Matadors (5-5).
CSUN won the three completed matches in straight sets and won three sets by 7-6 scores.
The Matadors won at No. 1, No. 3 and No. 6 singles and picked up victories in all three doubles contests.
YSU is scheduled to return to action on March 29 at Cleveland State in its Horizon League opener.
