Youngstown State junior pole vaulter Melana Schumaker was named the Under Armour #HLTF Indoor Women's Field Athlete of the Week following her performance at the Michigan Invitational on Saturday.

At Michigan, she cleared a height of 3.82m to place second in the event. She currently ranks first in the league with a season-best clearance of 4.05m set at the YSU Mid-Major on Jan. 31.

The Penguins will be in action at three separate meets starting on Friday.
