Dayton, Ohio – Sophomore forward Sara Felder scored for the fourth time this season as the Youngstown State women's soccer team batted Wright State to a 1-1 draw on Saturday evening.
The Penguins now move to 3-8-2 overall and 2-1-2 in Horizon League play while the Raiders improve to 6-5-2 overall and 3-0-2 in the league.
Felder gave the Penguins a 1-0 lead with goal in the lower right at the 13:12 mark of the game.
That lead held for more than 46 minutes when Mariella Hartmann knotted the contest at the 59:16 mark.
The Penguins tallied 12 total shots led by sophomore Kate Makkas, while sophomore goalkeeper Maya Naimoli recorded four saves.
Youngstown State visits Purdue Fort Wayne, Thursday, Oct. 9. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at the Hefner Soccer Complex in Fort Wayne, Ind.
