The Youngstown State men's and women's track and field programs had a busy week sending athletes to three different meets.
YSU was represented at the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic, the Westminster Invitational and the Bryan Clay Invitational.
Bucknell Bison Open Classic Highlights
Ryan Henry won the shot put with a throw of 17.52m to highlight the YSU performances. Henry was second in the discus with a toss of 53.17m while Coleson Kertesz was fifth at 51.27m.
Molly Radcliffe was second in the discus with a throw of 47.27m and Lexus Solarz was sixth at 44.11m.
Melana Schumaker was fourth in the women's pole vault with a best effort of 3.85m.
Samuel Challis was fifth in the triple jump with a top leap of 14.35m. Challis added a ninth-place finish in the long jump with leap of 6.89m.
Nathan Leskovac was third in the high jump at 2.03m while Mason Stephens was fifth at 1.98m and Zachary Webb was seventh.
In the men's pole vault, Dakota Keifer finished fourth at 4.60m in an event that was ended early because of weather.
Westminster Invitational Highlights
Logan Franczkowski finished second in the 200m dash with a time of 25.51 seconds while placing fourth in the 100m dash with a time of 12.63 seconds. Elle Pearsell was fifth in the 100m running a time of 12.64 seconds and Havilland Jones was fifth in the 200m posting a time of 26.34 seconds.
In the 100m hurdles, Lea Parham recorded a fifth-place time of 15.41 seconds.
For the men, Clancy Chrystal was second with a time of 14.93 seconds and Garrett Laubacher was third running a 14.97. Chrystal was sixth in the 400m hurdles with a time of 58.82 seconds.
Bryan Clay Invitational Highlights
Ryan Meadows clocked a personal-best time of 29:37.17 in the 10,000m run at the meet in Azusa, Calif. His time ranks second fastest in school history in the event.
Hunter Christopher ran in the 1500m posting a time of 3:53.75.

The Penguins will be taking part in a variety of meets this upcoming week. YSU is slated to be at the John Papa Invitational hosted by Slippery Rock, the Jesse Owens Classic hosted by Ohio State, the Wake Forest Invitational and the Virginia Challenge.
