Clarksville, Tenn. – The Youngstown State men's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision to No. 72 Troy on Thursday afternoon.
The Trojans won the doubles point with wins at No. 2 and No. 3. At No. 1, Dabas and Onder Balci picked up an impressive 6-2 win.
In singles, two contests went three sets and both were won by the Penguins.
At No. 3, William Rassat dropped his first set 6-1 before taking the next two 7-6 (0) and 6-4. At No. 4, Balci picked up a 6-2, 5-7, 10-8 victory.
The Trojans won in straight sets at No. 1, No. 2, No. 5 and No. 6.
The Penguins conclude their trip to Tennessee with a contest at Tennessee Tech on Friday. First serve in Cookeville, Tenn., is set for 1 p.m. Eastern/Noon Central.
