Youngstown State junior Clement Mainguy opens play for Pacific Oceania at the 2023 Davis Cup by Asia/Oceania Group III today in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

This marks the third consecutive year that Mainguy has represented Pacific Oceania in the event. He was part of the POC team's that played in Vietnam (2022) and Jordan (2021).

The following nations are competing in Davis Cup by Asia/Oceania Group III in 2023: Cambodia, Iran, Malaysia, Jordan, Pacific Oceania, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka and Vietnam.

Pacific Oceania is in Pool B and will have round-robin matches against Jordan, Malaysia and Cambodia during the tournament. The top two finishers in each group advance to the Promotional Playoffs.

Mainguy is one of six members of the Pacific Oceania roster which is led by captain Aymeric Mara, who is also a native of Vanuatu.
