Youngstown State throwers Dominic Perry and Molly Radcliffe have been named Nike #HLTF Athletes of the Week following their performances in the final weekend prior to the upcoming Horizon League Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

For the second consecutive meet, Perry, a senior from neaby Columbiana, Ohio, posted a personal-best mark when he had a throw of 18.46m taking first place at the Ashland Alumni Open. Perry moved into second place all time with a then personal-best throw of 18.42m at the OSU Jesse Owens Classic on April 22. He now ranks 41st in the nation in the event.

Radcliffe, a sophomore from Avon, Ohio, picked up a pair of top three finishes at the Ashland Alumni Open. Radcliffe won the elite shot put competition with a season-best throw of 14.74m. She finished third in the Elite discus throw with a throw of 46.37m.

The Penguins return to action on Friday when they play host to the 2023 Horizon League Championships.
