The Youngstown State men's tennis team had a busy weekend playing host to the YSU Invitational at the YSU Indoor Tennis Center. Combined, participants from six schools played nearly a combined 100 singles/doubles matches at the event.

The Penguins combined for 13 singles and five doubles wins in the event that featured Bellarmine, Duquesne, Eastern Kentucky, Cleveland State and Xavier.

In singles play, Nathan Favier and Will Rasset both picked up three wins while Harry Fouzas, Onder Balci and David Alvarez Moreno claimed two victories each. In doubles play, Favier and Nishant Dabas picked up two wins to lead the Guins.

The Penguins are next in action at the ITA Midwest Regionals which are set for Oct. 19 in Ann Arbor, Mich.
