2022 Fall Ball Schedule
The Youngstown State women's lacrosse team will compete in 11 games across five days of play throughout the fall, Head Coach Kendyl Clarkson announced Friday.
The Penguins will see a busy October finishing with the Penguins' lone-home game of fall ball on Oct. 30 against St. Bonaventure. First draw is set for 1 p.m. at Farmers National Bank Field.
YSU will kick off its fall campaign on Sept. 24 as they head to take on Bucknell in Lewisburg, Pa. at Graham Field. First draw is set for 3Â p.m.
After a two-week hiatus, the Penguins will travel to Louisville, Ky. to face off against three teams at the UofL Lacrosse Stadium on Oct. 9. Beginning at 11:10 a.m, the Penguins will compete against Marquette followed by Butler at 2:25 p.m. Then, YSU will face off against the Cardinals at 3:30Â p.m.
The following weekend, on October 16, the Guins will see another three games, this time at Duquesne in Pittsburgh Pa. YSU will start the day at Rooney Field at 10:30 a.m. against Pittsburgh. Then, the Penguins will face conference-foe Akron at noon. Youngstown State will finish off the day against the home team, the Dukes, at 3:40 p.m.
The Penguins' final tournament of the fall will be hosted by Niagara in Lewiston, N.Y. on Oct. 23. Mercyhurst will be YSU's first competition at Niagara Field at 11:30 a.m. followed by Canisius at 2:15 p.m. The Guins will finish off the day against Niagara at 5:15 p.m.
Youngstown State will conclude its fall slate with its home match against the Bonnies on Oct. 30.
