Following a rigorous three-day, two-meet slate a weekend ago, the Youngstown State track and field program returns to competition form on April 14-17, as it travels to Lewisburg, Penn., for the two-day Bison Outdoor Classic hosted by Bucknell.
Friday's competition at Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium will begin at 1 p.m. with flights of the men's long jump. Running events will start at 1:45 p.m. with sections of the women's 1500m run.
Saturday's slate will kick-off with the women's javelin throw that's set to commence at 10 a.m., with an array of field events to follow. Running events will begin thirty minutes later, at 10:30 a.m., with the women's 3000m.

USTFCCCA Rankings
After debuting as the seventh-best team in the region just two weeks ago, which acted as a school record, the men's program enters week three of the Great Lakes Regional Rankings up a spot from week two at No. 8 with 360.84 points.
Like the men, the women's program is also up a spot from last week's rankings, coming in at No. 14 with 162.56 points.
Both squads act as the best-ranked Horizon League program in their respective polls.

The Penguins will continue their busy April schedule and will split squads to compete at Ohio State's Jesse Owens Classic and Oregon's Oregon Relays during the April 22-23 weekend.
