Box Score Green Bay, Wis. -- Sophomore Alison Green scored a goal and assisted on another but the Youngstown State women's soccer team had to settle for an 2-2 double overtime tie against Green Bay on Friday evening.
The Penguns finish the season with a record of 3-12-2 and 1-7-1 in the Horizon League. Green Bay ends the season with an overall mark of 1-13-2 and a 1-7-1 record in the Horizon League.
The Phoenix jumped out the an early 1-0 lead when Hayley Fowle scored just 5:07 into the match.
Green scored her second goal of the year off an assist from junior Sophie McFarland and tied the game at 1-1 at the 9:20 mark.
Junior Marissa Martin scored her seventh goal of the year off an assist from Green and gave the Penguins a 2-1 at the 11:05 mark of the game.
Fowle tied the game at the 15:42 mark of the game and was the match's final score.
Senior Katie Montgomery tallied 13 saves and became the sixth player in school history with at least 200 career saves with 205.
