Women's Soccer Falls to Central Michigan, 2-0

Youngstown -- Central Michigan scored late goals in each half and defeated the Youngstown State women's soccer team, 2-0, on Friday evening at Farmers National Bank Field.
The Penguins fall to 2-3 while the Chippewas improve to 1-2-1.
In the waning seconds of the first half, CMU's Madison Costner dribbled past the YSU defense and scored the Chippewas first goal with just four seconds left before halftime.
In the 87th minute, CMU's Lauren Sherry floated a long pass from near midfield into the box and it slipped through the hands of Y.SU goalkeeper Katie Montgomery.
Montgomery totaled five assists in the loss.
The Chippewas outshot the Penguins, 14-5, and had five corner kicks compared to one for YSU.
Sophomore Kyler Lum led the Penguins with three shots, including two on goal.
The Penguins host Robert Morris, Sunday, at 1 p.m. at Farmers National Bank Field.
