Louisville, Ky. - Nina Grambling placed second in the 100-meter dash while Ciara Jarrett was second in the 200-meter dash on Friday night at the Louisville Cardinal Twilight meet at the Cardinal Park Track Stadium. All six of the Penguins who competed placed in the top four.
Grambling was second in strong field in the 100-meter dash clocking a time of 11.78 seconds. the winner in the event was Alexis Love of Murray State at 11.78 seconds.
In the 200-meter dash, Jarrett was second in the 200-meter dash with a time of 24.06. Jarrett was in second just behind Murray State's Love who finished with a time of 24.06 seconds.
Laura Kosiorek posted a time of 14.11 seconds in the 100-meter hurdles to place fourth. In the prelims, she had a time of 13.80 seconds which eclipsed the previous school-best time of 13.88 seconds set in 2006.
Alison Roth was fourth in the shot put with a throw of 14.30 meters. In the discus, Roth had a throw of 43.15 meters to finish eighth.
John Seaver was fourth in the shot put with a toss of 17.19 meters.
Ashley Wagner cleared a career-best height of 1.69 meters in the high jump to finish fourth. She was just .01 meters off the school mark en route to posting the third-best mark in school history.
