Ludwig Scores But Soccer Falls to Cleveland State, 2-1

Cleveland, Ohio -- Sophomore Allison Ludwig scored the game-tying goal but the Youngstown State soccer team dropped a 2-1 decision to Horizon League foe Cleveland State on Thursday evening at Krenzler Field.
The Penguins fall to 3-9-3 overall and 0-4-2 in the Horizon League while the Vikings improve to 9-6-1 overall and 2-3-1 in the league.
CSU's Taylor Vidovic scored just three minutes into the contest to put the Vikings ahead 1-0.
Ludwig knotted the game at 1-1 with her third goal of the season at the 34 minute mark.
But just three minutes into the second half, Vidovic scored her second goal of the match and sealed the game for the Vikings.
YSU senior goalkeeper Nicole Kline posted four saves while sophomore goalkeeper Ali Viola tallied three saves.
The Guins visit Loyola, Sunday, Oct. 23, at 2 p.m. in Chicago, Ill.
