Dayton, Ohio -- Senior Lauren Brennan scored for the second time this season but the Youngstown State women's soccer team lost to Wright State, 2-1, in overtime on Sunday afternoon.
The Penguins fall to 3-10 overall and 1-3 in the Horizon League while the Raiders improve to 5-7 overall and 2-2 in the league.
Wright State got on the board quickly on a goal by Brittany Persaud just four minutes into the game.
Brennan knotted the match with her 16th career goal at the 57th minute with an assist from sophomore Shelby Parks.
Just four minutes in the overtime period, Wright State's Lauren Patterson scored her first goal of the season to pick up the victory.
Junior goalkeeper Nicole Kline recorded seven saves.
The Penguins host Detroit in their final home game of the season, Friday, Oct. 8, at 3 p.m. at Stambaugh Stadium.
