Kelsey Kempton's First Goal of the Season Not Enough in 2-1 Loss at Butler

Indianapolis, Ind. -- Junior Kelsey Kempton scored her first goal of the season but Butler notched the game-winner with just 3:20 left to pull out a 2-1 victory over the Youngstown State soccer team on Friday afternoon at the Butler Bowl.
The Penguins fall to 3-13 overall and 1-6 in the Horizon League while Butler improves to 7-10 overall and 5-2 in the league.
Kempton gave the Penguins a 1-0 nearly 15 minutes into the match when she lofted a free kick over the head of Butler goalkeeper Olivia Walter.
Butler answered, though, and knotted the game at 1-1 at the 36:41 mark when Olivia Collosimo was credited with a goal on a corner kick.
Then with just 3:20 to go in regulation, Claire Milam chipped in the game-winning goal after a cross from Rachel Scott and Katie Griswold.
The Penguins close out the regular season at Valparaiso on Sunday, Oct. 24, at 2 p.m.
