Chicago, Ill. -- The Youngstown State soccer team dropped a hard-fought 1-0 decision to Loyola on Sunday afternoon.
The Penguins fall to 3-12 overall and 1-5 in the Horizon League while Loyola improves to 5-9-1 overall and 3-1-1 in the league.
Freshman goalkeeper Ali Viola recorded eight saves but gave up one goal at the 42-minute mark.
The Penguins took just five shots compared to 18 for the Ramblers.
The Penguins visit Butler, Friday, Oct. 22, at 4 p.m.
