Two Late Second-Half Goals Lifts Green Bay Past Soccer, 2-0

Green Bay, Wis. -- Green Bay scored two late second-half goals to defeat the Youngstown State soccer team, 2-0, at Santaga Stadium on Friday evening.
The Penguins fall to 3-7-2 overall and 0-3 in the Horizon League while the Phoenix improve to 3-8-3 overall and 1-2-1 in the league.
Junior Lauren Brennan led the Penguins with three of the team's 10 shots, including one shot on goal.
Senior goalkeeper Mariah Snyder shutout the Phoenix for more than 63 minutes before Green Bay's Mikayla Clark posted her first goal of the season.
In the 82nd minute, Lauren Somers' header off a free kick by Clark to the Phoenix up 2-0 with just over seven minutes left.
The Penguins visit Milwaukee, Sunday, Oct. 11, at 1 p.m.
