Cooper Tallies Seventh Goal in 3-1 Loss to Detroit

Detroit, Mich. -- Sophomore Kara Cooper scored her seventh goal of the season, but the Youngstown State soccer team dropped a 3-1 decision to Horizon League foe Detroit on Sunday afternoon.
The Penguins fall to 3-6-2 overall and 0-2 in the Horizon League.
The Titans took a 1-0 lead 27 minutes into the match but Cooper knotted the contest at 1-1 three minutes later.
Detroit's Rebecca Pidgeon posted two second-half goals to lift the Titans to the victory.
The Penguins return to action against Green Bay, Friday, Oct. 9, at 8 p.m.
