Matt Slepski is in his fourth season with the Youngstown State athletics department in 2026-27 and his first as Athletics Facilities and Programs Manager.
Slepski came to Youngstown State in 2023-24 after serving as an athletic operations graduate assistant at LSU from 2022-2023. With the Tigers, Slepski served as an event management graduate assist for men’s basketball and softball. He assisted in planning and supervising special events for Tiger Stadium.
He also spent two years at Akron as a facility, events and operations intern from October 2020 through July 2022.
Slepski served as an operations intern for the Cleveland Sports Commission from January-March 2022 and was part of the groundscrew for the Akron Rubberducks from May-August 2021.
Slepski graduated from Akron with a bachelor’s degree in sport management in 2022.
