Youngstown State University

2024-25 (Freshman):

• Had a very impressive freshman season, winning nine individual events and setting eight new school records.
• At the Horizon League Championships, finished runner-up in the 100-yard butterfly with a school-record time of 47.13, placed third in the 100-yard freestyle with a school-record time of 44.08, and finished 10th in the 50-yard freestyle with a school-record time of 20.01.
• Also at the HL Championships, he swam leadoff for the 400-yard freestyle relay squad that placed fourth, 800-yard freestyle relay team that also placed fourth with a school-record time of 6:34.28, and 200-yard freestyle relay squad that placed fifth with a school-record time of 1:20.25.
• At the CSCAA National Invitational Championships, was part of the 400-yard freestyle relay squad that placed sixth with a school-record time of 2:56.49, while also setting a new school record in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:38.29 as the leadoff leg in the men’s 800-yard freestyle relay.
• Also at the NIC’s, he placed 12th in the 50-yard butterfly with a season-best time of 21.38, 13th in the 50-yard freestyle, and 14th in the 100-yard butterfly.
• At Denison, he placed first in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 46.19, while also finishing runner-up in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 50.76, and eighth in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 21.46.
• At IU Indianapolis, he finished third in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:40.64 and also placed fourth in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 50.20.
• Put forth a very strong showing at the Magnus Cup Invitational at Cleveland State University, winning both the 50-yard butterfly (21.46) and 100-yard freestyle (44.76), as well as finishing fifth in both the 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard butterfly.
• Won the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 1:56.40 and finished runner-up in the 100-yard butterfly on Senior Day vs. Cleveland State.
• At Niagara, won the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 49.97 and finished second in the 50-yard butterfly.
• At the Akron Zips Classic, won the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 20.66, while also finishing runner-up in the 100-yard butterfly and sixth in the 100-yard freestyle.
• At Oakland, won the 100-yard butterfly (49.39) and 100-yard freestyle (46.14) and also finished third in the 50-yard freestyle.
• Won the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 49.72 and placed second in the 50-yard freestyle during the season-opening meet vs. St. Bonaventure.
