Biography

2024-25 (R-Junior): Did not see action in any tournaments.

2023-24 (R-Sophomore): Participated in three tournaments and three rounds…averaged 92.3 strokes per round with a low round of 89…placed 22nd at the YSU Kickoff with a single-round score of 89…carded a 93 in the opening round of the Roseann Schwartz Invitational before withdrawing due to injury…recorded a 95 in the opening round of the YSU Spring Invitational before withdrawing due to injury.

2022-23 (Sophomore): Missed the entire season due to injury…redshirted.

2021-22 (Freshman): Participated in three tournaments and six rounds…averaged 93.3 strokes per round with a low round of 89…recorded a two-round score of 179 (89-90) in her collegiate debut at the Roseann Schwartz Invitational…posted a three-round 284 (94-95-95) at the Nevel Meade Collegiate…turned in a single-round 97 at the YSU Spring Invitational.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played four years of varsity golf at Salem High School...posted a nine-hole scoring average of 41.2...carded a low nine-hole round of 37 and a low 18-hole round of 80...her 18-hole mark of 80 in 2020 broke a school record that had stood since 2005...helped the Quakers set a new record for lowest 18-hole team score during the 2020 campaign...became Salem's first three-time district qualifier, earning Division II First-Team All-Northeast Ohio honors in 2020...named First-Team All-Eastern Buckeye Conference while earning the conference's Scholar-Athlete Award for golf in 2020...garnered Academic All-Ohio honors in 2020...named captain and MVP of the Salem Lady Quakers golf team...fired an 80 at sectionals in 2020 to finish as the runner-up out of 75 golfers...placed eighth at districts with a score of 86...served as Treasurer of the National Honor Society at Salem High School...also competed in track and figure skating.

PERSONAL: Parents are Rob and Deri...has a sister (Rylee)...major is education...recipient of the 2024-25 Anthony "Tony" Schiavone Memorial Golf Scholarship.

Why I chose YSU: I chose YSU because it felt like it could be another place I could call home since it has an amazing education program, I could continue my golf career and I’m close enough to home to go back and forth as much as I want without a problem.

The best thing about Coach Miklos is: He always wants the best for his players; not only as a golfer, but as a person. He is also very understanding and easy to talk to.

The best thing about being a Penguin golfer: Meeting new teammates to make lifelong friendships and unforgettable memories on and off the course.

The best thing about going to school at YSU is: Enjoying all the great things college has to offer while pursuing a degree and playing golf. Also, being only 30 minutes away from home so I can go home to see my family whenever I can.

At 150 yards, I pull out my: 5 hybrid

My favorite club in my bag is my: 3 hybrid

My favorite golf course: Salem Hills (home course throughout high school)

My favorite golfer: Nelly Korda

My golf superstitions/rituals are: Clean clubs and everything has to be organized and correctly placed before every round. 

Person I would love to play a round of golf with: Tiger Woods

My greatest sports moment: Breaking my 18-hole school record at sectionals and my whole senior year at Salem because it was filled with many laughs, hardships, tears and smiles.

Best career competitive round: 80

Hobbies: Coaching figure skating, organizing, working out and bible studies.

Post-college plans/ambitions: To become a 1st or 2nd grade teacher and impact little minds!
