2011 (Sophomore): Was a member of the team, but did not see action...received scout team player-of-the-week honors five times...was the scout team Defensive Player of the Week against South Dakota State...earned special teams awards for weeks of Michigan State, Indiana State, Saint Francis (Pa.) and North Dakota State.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was a two-year letterwinner at Wellsville...played linebacker and running back...rushed for 684 yards and scored 10 touchdowns in run-oriented offense...caught nine passes for 97 yards...Tigers posted 7-4 mark during senior campaign in 2008...coach was Art Miller...played at East Liverpool in 2007...rushed for 346 yards on 73 carries and three touchdowns as a junior...was also a wrestler.
