2017 Outdoor (Freshman): Placed fifth in the long jump with a leap of 6.70 meters (21-11.75) at the Horizon League Championships...also competed in the triple jump.

2017 Indoor (Freshman): Placed third in the long jump with a leap of 7.11m at the Horizon League Championships...finished fifth in the triple jump with a leap of 14.18m.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was a two-time New York state champion in the triple jump claiming outdoor titles as a junior and a senior...was sixth in the long jump as a junior...as a senior, won the long jump (23 feet, 4 inches, a personal best) and the triple jump (47-10 1/2) at the state qualifiers matching Class D titles in both events in indoor track...two-time All-Greater Rochester first-team selection...was second in the long jump at outdoor sectionals as a junior...coach was Scott Owens...also played football and basketball.

PERSONAL: Parents are Loretta and Eric Butler...has four brothers...academic interest is exercise science.
