Played in all 12 games, starting 11 times...recorded 39 total tackles, 17 of which were solo...tied for first in tackles for defensive tackles...tallied four sacks and 6.5 tackles for loss...had a season-high seven tackles (three solos and four assists) and 3.5 TFL against UNI...recorded sacks in conseuctive games against Indiana State and Illinois State to end the season...also had sacks vs. UNI and Western Illinois...recorded a fumble recovery and blocked a kick against Howard...had three quarterback hurries on the season, two of which came against South Dakota...broke up three passes against South Dakota State...had four-or-more tackles on six occasions...recorded a pass breakup against Samford...earned his second letter.

2018 (Redshirt Freshman): Played in 10 games as a reserve defensive lineman...was credited with three tackles, including two solo stops and a sack...had two solo tackles at West Virginia...against Butler had a sack for a six-yard loss...earned his first letter.

2017 (Freshman): Redshirted.

High School: A three-star recruit by 247sports.com and rivals.com…ranked as the No. 25 recruit in Pennsylvania by rivals.com and No. 38 recruit in Pennsylvania by 247sports.com…second-team Pennsylvania Football News Class 3A selection…was a standout defensive end at McKeesport… first-team all-conference selection as a senior and a junior…as a senior helped McKeesport to a 9-3 record and appearance in the WPIAL Class 5A Championship…lost 2016 title game 38-37 in overtime to West Allegheny…in the semifinals, McKeesport beat Gateway on a final-play Hail Mary…Tigers went 9-2 overall advancing to the WPIAL Class 4A Quarterfinals in 2015…selected for the PSFCA East-West All-Star Game...coach was Matt Miller.
