2018 (Junior): Played in 10 games as a reserve wide receiver and member of special teams...caught six passes for 71 yards...had two catches for 14 yards at South Dakota State...had a 20-yard reception against UNI...caught a pass for 13 yards against Indiana State...had 12-yard grabs against Butler and Illinois State...earned his second letter. 

2017 (Sophomore): Did not see action.

2016 (Redshirt Freshman): Played in eight games as a member of special teams and reserve wide receiver...played in six of the final seven games of the season...had two special teams tackles at Missouri State...earned his first letter.

2015 (Freshman): Redshirted.

HIGH SCHOOL: A first-team All-Ohio Division I selection as a wide receiver...first-team Northeast Lakes Division I All-District and West Shore League honoree...selected to play in the Ohio High School Football Coaches Association's 2015 North-South Classic (big school game)...caught 60 passes for 1,269 yards and 16 touchdowns...had 153 yards and three touchdowns against rival Avon Lake...Avon was 10-2 and advanced to the second round of the state playoffs...as a junior was a second-team Division I Northeast Lakes District pick...Eagles were 12-1 in 2013 and won the West Shore League title... three-year starter for the Eagles on both sides of the football...was a starting safety as a sophomore...coach was Mike Elder...also played basketball and competed in track and field.

PERSONAL: Parents are Kristen and Rodd Torbert...has a brother (Max) and a sister...major is business... is the 2019-20 recipient of the Gary And Ginny Neville Scholarship.
