Youngstown, Ohio — Youngstown State's bowling student-athletes were recognized this week by Conference USA for their academic achievement in the classroom, Commissioner Judy MacLeod announced.
On Thursday, Conference USA announced 3,718 student-athletes across all of its sports as members of the Commissioner's Honor Roll during the 2025-26 academic year. Student-athletes named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better and have completed at least one academic semester at the institution in either spring 2025 or fall 2025. All eight Penguins were named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll.
A total of 1,301 student-athletes were named Commissioner's Academic Medal winners on Friday by maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or better and having completed at least one academic semester at the institution in either spring 2025 or fall 2025. Five Penguins —
