The members of the Youngstown State men's and women's track and field teams have their last busy week of competition this week with athletes set to compete at three meets.
On Wednesday and Thursday, YSU will be represented at the Mount Union Classic in Alliance, Ohio. On Thursday and Friday, a group of Penguins will be in Philadelphia for the Penn Relays. On Friday and Saturday, a group of Guins will be at the Ashland Alumni Open in Ashland, Ohio.
Two throwing events are underway today at the Mount Union Classic – the javelin and the hammer throw. All other events will be contested tomorrow.
On Thursday at the Penn Relays, the distance runners will be in action. All other field and running events take center stage on Friday. All coverage of the meet will be available via Flo Track.
At Ashland, the throwing events and men's pole vault will be held on Friday. All other events are set to take place on Saturday.
