Youngstown, Ohio — Youngstown State's bowling team moved up one spot from eighth to seventh in the March release of the National Tenpin Coaches Association Top 25 Poll, which was announced on Monday.
March was the final poll of the regular season, and YSU extended its streak of ranking among the top 10 to 25 consecutive polls dating back to the final release of the 2020-21 season.Â
The top seven teams are all members of Conference USA and the conference's championship is set to begin on Wednesday in Harahan, La. Jacksonville State received all 37 first-place votes in the poll, and it was followed by Vanderbilt, Arkansas State, Nebraska, Wichita State, Louisiana Tech and YSU. Maryville, the only non-Conference USA school in the top 11, is eighth, followed by Sam Houston, Sacred Heart and Wright State.
