Penguins to Face UNC-Greensboro, Georgia Southern in Jacksonville Classic

Jacksonville, Fla. – The matchups for the 2025 Jacksonville Classic are set, and Youngstown State will face UNC-Greensboro and Georgia Southern at Adams-Jenkins Community Sports & Music Complex on the campus of Edward Waters University.

The Penguins will face UNC-Greensboro on Sunday, Nov. 23 and Georgia Southern on Monday, Nov. 24. Game times are still to be determined.

One of the nation's premier early-season college basketball tournaments, this year's event will feature a dynamic field of 10 programs, bringing high-level Division I competition and national attention to Jacksonville

The 2025 Jacksonville Classic field includes:

The Jacksonville Classic has quickly established itself as a staple of the college basketball schedule, delivering competitive matchups, national exposure, and a boost to the local community. With programs from across the country converging in Jacksonville, fans can expect three days of high-energy basketball and memorable moments from the largest college basketball event on the east coast.
