Men’s Basketball to Visit Cincinnati in Mid-November Non-Conference Tilt

Youngstown, Ohio – The Youngstown State men's basketball team will face Big XII member and in-state foe Cincinnati on Wednesday, Nov. 18, as part of the 2026-27 non-conference portion of the schedule, Head Coach Ethan Faulkner announced on Friday.
Game time and television assignments will be announced at a later date.
This marks just the fourth meeting between the Penguins and Bearcats and the first since 2000. Cincinnati owns a 3-0 record in the all-time series and won the last meeting, 74-65, on Dec. 20, 2000, in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
The game also marks the first time the Penguins will play in Cincinnati since 1999.
Cincinnati is coming off an 18-15 overall record and a 9-9 mark in the Big XII last season.
The Bearcats are led by first-year head coach and former Youngstown State mentor Jerrod Calhoun.
