The Youngstown State men's golf team will compete in six tournaments across three different states from early September to late October during the fall portion of its 2025-26 season. Head Coach Tony Joy announced the team's complete fall schedule on Tuesday.
"We have a few big opportunities coming up this fall that the group is very excited about," said Joy. "Playing in a new event hosted by Mercyhurst that is close to home as well as getting the invitation to play in Xavier's event should help us be better prepared for the spring season."
The Penguins will open the 2025-26 season on Sept. 8-9 with the Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational at Guyan Golf and Country Club in Huntington, W. Va. YSU will then make the trip to Erie, Pa., for the Mercyhurst Laker Fall Invitational on Sept. 14-15 at Lakeview Country Club.
The Guins will remain in the state of Ohio for their next two events beginning with the Virtues Intercollegiate on Sept. 29-30 at Virtues Golf Club in Nashport, Ohio. YSU will continue its fall slate on Oct. 6-7 with the Tom Tontimonia Invitational hosted by Cleveland State at Lakewood Country Club in Westlake, Ohio.
Youngstown State will participate in the Bucknell Invitational on Oct. 12-14 at Bucknell Golf Club in Lewisburg, Pa, before concluding its fall schedule on Oct. 20-21 with the Xavier Invitational at Maketewah Country Club in Cincinnati, Ohio.
