Youngstown, Ohio – The Youngstown State softball team (11-30, 3-9 Horizon League) dropped the series finale to Robert Morris (19-11, 11-3), 10-1, in five innings on Thursday evening at the Covelli Sports Complex.
Senior Taylor Truran went 2-for-2 with a double to lead the Penguins. Ayla Ray, Lydia Wilkerson, and Elyssa Imler each had a hit for the Penguins, and sophomore Macy Littler drove in the Penguins' lone run.
Youngstown State visits IU Indy for a three-game series, April 12-13, in Indianapolis, Ind.
