Rock Hill, S.C. – The Youngstown State softball team dropped a pair of games at the Coach Cooke Memorial Tournament on Saturday.
The Penguins fell to Marist, 3-1, and USC-Upstate, 8-3.
In the opener, Macy Littler and Ashlyn Bishop each went 2-for-3 while Kennedy Dean had a hit and scored a run.
Against the Spartans, Dean belted her first home run of the season and Lydia Wilkerson also drove in a run.
Youngstown State closes out the tournament against Southern Indiana, Sunday, at 10 a.m.
