Spartanburg, S.C. – The Youngstown State softball fell twice on day two of the Terrier Invite at Hope Field.
The Penguins (0-4) lost to Wofford, 5-2, and Dayton, 8-1.
Against Wofford, junior Bree Kohler and senior Taylor Truran each went 3-for-3, and Ayla Ray collected two hits.
Kohler and sophomore Macy Littler tallied two hits each in the loss.
The Penguins close out the tournament against Towson, Sunday, Feb. 9. First pitch is slated for 12:30 p.m.
