Indianapolis, Ind. – The Horizon League announced its 2025-26 television schedule today and Youngstown State has been selected for four of the ESPN Wild-Card games.
A total of eight Horizon League matchups will air on ESPN linear networks including five during the regular season. All League regular season games during the 2025-26 season will be "wildcard" selections to ensure the best matchups possible. All 11 teams will begin the season with an opportunity to be featured on ESPN2/ESPNU during League play.
Youngstown State's first opportunity to be featured on national television during league action will be at Wright State on Thursday, Jan. 15 at 7 p.m. on ESPNU.
The Penguins matchup against Purdue Fort Wayne on Wednesday, Feb. 4 at 7 p.m. is in consideration for broadcast on ESPNU.
Youngstown State's game at Oakland on Thursday, Feb. 12 at 7 p.m. is one of five options to be highlighted on ESPN2.
The Penguins' home game against Northern Kentucky on Sunday, Feb. 22, at 2 p.m. on ESPNU is their final chance to be televised nationally during the regular season.
Youngstown State hosts Akron in an exhibition game on Wednesday, Oct. 29, at 6:30 p.m. at Zidian Family Arena at Beeghly Center.
The Penguins open the regular season at Pittsburgh, Monday, Nov. 3. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. at the Petersen Events Center, and the game will be aired on 570 WKBN and the ACC Network Extra.
