Youngstown, Ohio – Three Youngstown State men's basketball players have been named to the 2025-26 Academic All-District Team, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC), for their combined elite performance on the court and in the classroom, the organization announced on Tuesday.
Senior Bryson Dawkins and juniors Drew King and Rich Rolf earned first-team all-district honors after posting a minimum 3.50 grade-point average.
Dawkins, carries a 3.79 GPA in general studies, appeared and started in all 32 games for the Penguins in 2025-26. He averaged 12.6 points per game overall and shot 51.9 percent from the field. Dawkins performed even better against Horizon League foes averaging 14.5 points and 4.7 rebounds per game and shot 54.2 percent from the floor.
King owns a 3.78 grade-point average in general studies and appeared in all 32 games this season. He led the team with 93 assists and 2.9 assists per game and dished out at least four assists in a game on 12 occasions.
Rolf, who boasts a 3.68 grade-point average in business administration, appeared in 31 games and made 30 starts. He averaged 9.1 points and 4.5 rebounds per game and scored in double figures 14 times. Rolf also connected on 46 3-pointers and made 36.8 percent of his 3-point attempts.
