Youngstown State's volleyball team will host Northern Kentucky for a pair of Horizon League matches this Friday and Saturday at Zidian Family Arena at Beeghly Center. Friday's match will be YSU's annual Breast Cancer Awareness Match, and parking for Saturday's contest will be affected due to the YSU football game at 6 p.m.
Friday's match against the Norse will begin at 5 p.m., and Saturday's contest will start at 1 p.m.
Pink Match Details
The Penguins will wear pink jerseys on Friday as they raise awareness for breast cancer. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and YSU will join other volleyball teams from across the country in supporting the cause.
YSU is partnering locally with the Joanie Abdu Comprehensive Breast Care Center in Youngstown to drive awareness and donations. All donations raised will stay in the Youngstown community to support patients and equipment at the center, which is part of Mercy Health. The donations help fund Joanie's Promise, which provides mammograms to low-income and uninsured women at no cost, provides transportation to and from the facility, and offers a community educator to educate women on breast cancer. Donated funds also support Joanie on the Go, a fully operational mammography mobile unit traveling the tri-county area.

Saturday Parking Details
Due to the YSU football game on Saturday evening, there will be parking restrictions and gameday pricing across campus.
Fans should plan on parking in the M-30 parking deck on Wick Avenue for $5 and walk through campus to Beeghly Center.
