Four Penguins Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

Kennedy Dean, Sara Fessler, Jillian Jakse and Conchetta Rinaldi were named to the College Sports Communicators 2024 Academic All-District® Softball team, the organization announced on Tuesday.
This is Jakse's second straight selection to the all-district team while Dean, Fessler and Rinaldi appeared on the team for the first time.
Jakse, a 2023 academic all-district choice, posted a 4.00 GPA in civil engineering while Dean owns a 3.90 grade-point average in marketing. Fessler posted a 3.67 GPA while pursuing her graduate a degree in marketing and had a 3.63 undergraduate GPA in business. Rinaldi posted a GPA of 3.71 in exercise science.
The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes softball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
