Four Youngstown State student-athletes have been named to the 2024 Academic All-District® Volleyball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
The four teams — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA — were announced on Tuesday, and Penguins Abbie Householder, Maria Insana, Isabel Schaefbauer and Nyia Setla were among those honored.
Householder was an Academic All-District selection in 2023, and she is among a select group of student-athletes who will advance to the Academic All-America® ballot. Those teams will be announced on Jan. 14.
